Not really sure what to say, this is the first chance I've had to get on internet - and it's not been one of my priorities in the last 6 months.

Anyway, I am alright.

I will be leaving the UK next month and I don't intend to return, I would say that I'd miss it but I know that I wont.
It's become a hateful, greedy and corrupt society full of nasty, uncaring people and apart from about three people and a few nice buildings has nothing to offer me any more.

There is a big world out there and I need to see more of it.

I have a plan, but not sure where I'll end up eventually, I'm heading "south" all I know for sure is that it'll be warm(er) and dry there.

I hope that everyone is ok, I'll miss some of you - you know who you are.

I've now finished both of Hal Duncan's books ("Vellum" & "Ink").

I'm still undecided wether I like them... some moments of Vellum are truely amazing, but then it all goes a bit pretentious in Ink (oh my god! how long did the play go on for! - read it you'll know what I mean:)

I'd reccommend them to anyone who like angels and mythology - and is not easily offended.

I didn't want to jynx it by posting this before but: I've been playing Tetris on my phone for 11 hours 30 minutes. I've got over 1,300,000 points, I'm on level 43. I don't seem to be able to loose. Obviously this has not been a non-stop game - I can pause the game on my phone, but I play when travelling to- and from- work to stop the boredom...

I don't think It'll stop!

Skins was excellent last night, I've not laughed so much in a long time - I really needed that. I rechognised a few people too ;)

"Hello, I like you, where's the kitchen? I must see the kitchen!" girl made me laugh... and think.

I'm very impressed - the main "cool" kid wasn't too annoying for a pleasant change for that archytype.
I like the psych teacher having a breakdown in the class... and her checking out the guys arse and having to stop herself - quite subtle for something like this. Let's hope it stays at this standard.

Finished the first two Thomas Harris', I started 'Hannibal' on the bus this morning, I'm already 50 pages in - damn he's good. I can't believe I've waited this long to read his stuff - still at least I wont have to wait for book 4 - hopefully it'll be in paperback by the time I get to it - but probably not.

I'm reading all the Thomas Harris Lector books at the moment, this is probably a bad thing. Especially as I like Lectors sense of humour. Oops.

It's probably going to be a quiet Christmas this year - which after the insanity of last year is a good thing. I might actually spend this new year with a friend - which should break my 8 year record of being alone at home (or in hospital!).

I've been working on my new tattoo for the last 2 years or so, I know what I want but I just can't get it down on paper... so far I've got a design that I want to run down my spine - highliting my vertibra - but after that it gets all fuzzy... I'll have to find a way to scan the designs I have. Hopefully I'll have a PC by the middle of January!! Yay!

We had the "Team party" on Wednesday - OMG I've not drunk that much in ages - but I'm still attributing my "illness" to the food as my stomach is never like that after any amount of alcohol...

Renaissance is amazing.
Think Sin City crossed with Blade Runner and Maltese Falcon. Fantastic!

Also: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children took my breath away: Best bikes and CGI in ANY movie EVER! - seriously groundbreaking, the "costumes" are very cool too. Overall a enthralling and totally non-stop movie... and The "WEAPON" daemon makes the Ballrog look like a f**king Care Bear!! ;)

It's terrible - I have been paid but as I now live at work I'm unable to actually go out and buy anything!!! This sucks. I'm thankful for Sunday opening...

My MRI today was really surreal. The only thing I'm worried about is if they see all the nasty things that have always lived in my head, they may escape now :)
It was bizzare, not something I'd like to repeat - I'm not clostraphobic but I can now appreciate how someone who is, might feel.

In other news: I can't say how much I'm looking forwards to Stardust - it looks truely fantastic.

The weekend was lame, I had money to do stuff, but sadly no energy. So I just sat curled-up watching movies, I got through about quite a few, I watched the entire 'Lord of the Rings' Extended Edition from start to finish (- I don't think my neighbours like me any more as I had the sound up seriously loud!).
Today it was a real effort to get up - these painkillers are good at killing pain - but they seem to be rather good at killing any motivation that I might have had as well :(

Cows!

There were cows on the line!

It took over an hour to herd said bovine menace to safety before the train could proceed.

This country really is in the dark ages - how difficult is it to build a fence properly?! - especially one next to railway lines - this is the second time this week!

Apart from that, headache-from-hell seems to be hovering over me at the moment... I'm keeping him* at bay with plenty of PKs...



*My headache is now named Sebastian, and has been on/off for the last month :(

Mirrormask is fantastic!

I heartily reccomend it to any Gaiman/McKean fan... or anyone who even remotely likes a good dream-like fantasy movie. It's a modern Labyrinth/Alice in Wonderland - it's stunning to look at and is totally captivating!
